“Durch das verwendete starke Teleobjektiv ist der Baum im Hintergrund gewollt sehr unscharf dargestellt und damit eine typisch fotografische Bildkomposition. Durch die manuelle "Verwandlung" in ein Fotoaquarell (2008) wird es zu einem Paradebeispiel für meine spezielle Gestaltungstechnik, denn: Vor einem weißen Blatt Papier sitzend und über ein herbstliches Aquarell sinnierend wäre ich vermutlich kaum auf die Idee gekommen, den mächtigen Baum im schattig-monochromen Hintergrund als einen solch abstrakt-gegenständlich-unscharfen Strukturmix darzustellen. Aber genau diese - für ein Aquarell ungewöhnliche - Gestaltung macht gemeinsam mit den warmtönig-kontrastreichen Herbstlichtblättern im Vordergrund den besonderen Reiz des Bildes aus! Das kleine im Titel enthaltene Wortspiel mit dem großen "T" am Ende erschließt sich leider nur in der deutschen Sprache ... ;o)”

“Due to the strong telephoto lens used, the tree in the background is deliberately displayed very blurred and thus a typical photographic composition. Through the manual "transformation" into a photo painting (2008) it becomes a prime example of my special design technique, because: Sitting in front of a white sheet of paper and pondering over an autumn watercolor, I would probably hardly have had the idea of depicting the mighty tree in the shady, monochrome background as such an abstract-objective-blurred structure mix. But it is precisely this - unusual for a watercolor - design that participates together with the warm-toned, high-contrast autumn light leaves in the foreground and gives the picture its special charm! The small play on words in the title with the capital "T" at the end is unfortunately only available in German ... ;o)”
